History

K-State's College of Business dates back to 1962 when the College of Commerce was founded. Before 1962, the business department was included in the College of Arts & Sciences since 1954. During year 1966, the College of Commerce changed the name to College of Business Administration. The College has since added two other departments, Entrepreneurship and Managment Information Systems. The College has resided in Calvin Hall since 1959.
